Protected Cove

Always snorkel with a buddy!

As you can see from these photos, this cove down the beach is quite protected from the Kona coast waves that normally crash on the rocks. Ocean conditions change both seasonally and daily, so we’ve shown you a series of shots depicting the different conditions we saw in the month of June.

Remember, sea turtles are protected, and they shouldn’t be approached. We have noticed, however, that sometimes they are very curious and follow behind us!
